Nita Steitle

Nita Steitle is a seasoned professional in the mortgage industry, currently serving as Vice President of Underwriting at SWBC Mortgage since October 2012, where Nita oversees nationwide underwriting operations and staff management. Prior to this role, Nita gained extensive experience as Government Underwriting Team Lead at Home Savings of America, Sr. Director of Loan Compliance at World Savings/Wachovia, and Chief Compliance Officer at DHI Financial Services. Nita began a career in underwriting at North American Mortgage, holding the position of Underwriter from 1992 to 1994.
