John Carr

John Carr, MBA, currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Operational Implementation in the Financial Institutions Group at SWBC since August 2019. Previously, John held the position of U.S. Director of Strategy at Argo Group from December 2017 to April 2019, where strategic direction for the U.S. was established. At USAA, from August 2009 to July 2017, John led a business development team generating substantial revenue and a significant number of leads and enrollments in the Real Estate Rewards Network. Prior experience includes managing business development as an Account Manager at Sumitomo Corporation of America and serving as a Captain in the United States Army, where John oversaw battalion operations in Iraq. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Wake Forest University and an MBA from Purdue University Daniels School of Business.
