Alison Ashby

Project Biologist at SWCA

Alison Ashby has a diverse work experience in the field of environmental consulting and wildlife management. Alison started their career in 2013 as a Crew Member with the American Conservation Corps. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Wildlife Technician for the City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks. In 2016, they took on the role of a Greater Sage-Grouse Technician at the University of Wyoming, followed by a position as a Gambel's and Scaled Quail Technician at New Mexico State University. In 2017, they worked as a Northern Spotted Owl Technician at Colorado State University and later as a Ring-Necked Pheasant Technician at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In 2018, they joined SWCA Environmental Consultants as a Natural Resources Specialist and continued with the company in 2019 as a Project Biologist. Alison'sroles have provided their with valuable experience in wildlife management and environmental consulting.

Alison Ashby holds a Master's degree in Geomatics for Environmental Management from The University of British Columbia, which they obtained from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they completed their studies from 2009 to 2013.
