Daniel Knorp

Daniel Knorp CISSP has a diverse work experience in the field of IT security and infrastructure. Starting in 2010, they worked at Chipotle Mexican Grill in various roles, including Regional IT Support and Operations General Manager. During their time there, they focused on hardware/software maintenance, training, and ensuring security awareness. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Red Robin, where they were responsible for managing vendors, ensuring compliance, and engineering custom solutions. From 2020 to 2021, they served as an Infrastructure Engineer at Air Methods, focusing on implementing a secure IT infrastructure and managing security tools. In 2021, they worked as part of the Security Operations team at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck until 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Cloud Security and Infrastructure Engineer at SWCA Environmental Consultants.

Daniel Knorp CISSP received their Bachelor's Degree in Technology Systems Management from Michigan State University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. Daniel earned the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge v.4 from the Cloud Security Alliance in September 2022. Daniel also holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)², which they obtained in July 2021. Prior to that, in October 2015, they became a Scrum Master certified by the Scrum Alliance. Finally, in December 2014, they received the ITIL Foundation certification as an ITIL Certified professional.
