Dustin Olson

Dustin Olson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dustin started their career as an Earth Science teacher at Forestview Middle School from 2014 to 2016. Dustin then moved on to become a Physical Science teacher at Minnewaska Secondary School from 2017 to 2018. Following that, they worked as an Assistant Manager at Cold Spring Bakery Connection for a brief period in 2017.

In 2019, Dustin took on the role of a GIS Intern at Todd County, Minnesota, where they gained experience in geographic information systems. Later in the same year, they joined The Home Depot as a member of the Merchandise Execution Team, where they contributed to the execution of merchandising strategies.

From 2020 to 2023, Dustin worked at Frontier Precision as a GPS/GIS Support Technician, providing technical support and assistance regarding GPS and GIS systems.

Dustin is currently employed as an Assistant Staff Geospatial Scientist at SWCA Environmental Consultants, starting from March 2023.

Dustin Olson began their education in 2000 at the University of Minnesota-Morris, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology in 2006. Dustin then pursued further studies at St. Cloud State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from 2008 to 2011. Seeking to expand their knowledge and skills, Dustin enrolled in St. Cloud State University once again in 2018, this time pursuing a Master of Science degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography, which they are projected to complete in 2023.
