Ellen Kraus

Ellen Kraus has a diverse work experience in the field of environmental consulting. Ellen is currently working as an Air Quality Project Manager at SWCA Environmental Consultants since 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Consultant at ERM: Environmental Resources Management for 10 years. In this role, they supported ERM's Air Quality and Climate Change Practice, focusing on air quality permitting, compliance, emissions reporting, and health risk assessments. Ellen also worked as a Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer at ERM, where they gained experience in various environmental engineering projects. Before ERM, they worked as an Environmental Consultant at ZMassociates Inc, specializing in sustainable project planning, environmental modeling, permitting, and compliance consulting. Ellen started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where they conducted research related to environmental issues.

Ellen Kraus obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 2006 to 2008. Ellen continued their education at the same university and received a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from 2008 to 2010.
