Eric Fajer has extensive work experience in talent acquisition and human resources. Eric is currently the Director of Talent Acquisition at SWCA Environmental Consultants, where they lead recruitment efforts and supervises the talent acquisition team. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Manager Talent Acquisition at SWCA, responsible for recruitment in the Rocky Mountain Region and mentoring the team.
Before joining SWCA, Eric worked as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Gilbane Building Company from 2017 to 2020. Eric also has a strong background in HR operations and recruitment, having held various leadership roles at CH2M. These roles include Senior HR Operations Leader, Strategic Talent Deployment & Recruitment Leader, and International HR Operations Leader in the Water Division.
Eric's career began at the US Agency for International Development, where they served as a Biodiversity and Climate Change Advisor for the Latin America and Caribbean Bureau. Eric played a significant role in the Parks in Peril program, expanding it to over 30 sites in the region.
Eric Fajer also has experience as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, where they focused on improving collaboration among global climate change biologists and policy analysts.
Throughout their career, Eric has showcased their expertise in talent acquisition, HR operations, and environmental conservation.
Eric Fajer attended Miller Place High School from 1978 to 1981. After completing high school, they went on to enroll at Stanford University where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Eric studied at Stanford University from 1981 to 1985. Following the completion of their undergraduate studies, Eric Fajer then pursued a Ph.D. in Biology at Harvard University. Eric attended Harvard University from 1985 to 1990.
