Eric Nolte

Eric Nolte has a diverse work experience in the field of biology and environmental conservation. Eric started their career in 2004 as a Research Assistant at Northern Arizona University, where they surveyed for Western Yellow-billed Cuckoos and assisted with report preparation. In 2006, they joined USGS as a Biological Science Technician, conducting breeding season surveys and monitoring of bird species and participating in avian point counts and bird banding. At Boise State University, Eric served as an Adjunct Instructor from 2009 to 2015, teaching lab sections of Human Anatomy and Physiology. Eric also worked as a Teaching Assistant during this period, giving presentations, administering quizzes and tests, and providing feedback to students. In 2016, Eric joined WEST, Inc. as a Biological Technician, and their responsibilities included fieldwork and data collection. Eric later worked as a Research Technician at Boise State University, conducting protocol surveys of breeding Prairie Falcons and documenting field observations. From 2019 to 2021, Eric worked as a Wildlife Biologist at BIONOMICS ENVIRONMENTAL, INC., contributing their expertise in wildlife conservation. Currently, they hold the position of Project Biologist at SWCA Environmental Consultants, where they are likely involved in environmental research and management.

Eric Nolte obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Wildlife Biology from Humboldt State University. Eric attended this institution from 2000 to 2004. Later, they pursued further education at Boise State University, where they completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Raptor Biology from 2008 to 2012.
