Heather MacIsaac

Heather MacIsaac is a skilled professional in archaeology with a comprehensive background in fieldwork and archaeological techniques. Currently serving as a Staff Archaeologist at SWCA Environmental Consultants since April 2021, Heather has previously held roles as Assistant Staff Archaeologist and Archaeological Field Technician. Experience includes working as an Election Judge with the Cook County Clerk and a Garden Care Specialist at Pesche's Garden Center & Nursery. Heather's archaeological expertise is highlighted through roles such as Crew Chief at Archaeological Services, where management of a team on a Revolutionary War battlefield survey took place, and Field Technician at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, involving shovel test pit excavations and lab work. As an Archaeology Graduate Assistant, Heather trained undergraduate students at the Historic Hanna's Town field school.
