Jonathan Campbell

Jonathan Campbell, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jonathan began their career as a Consultant at the USACE Waterways Experiment Station from 1996 to 2002. In 2004, they founded their own company, Campbell & Associates, where they served as a Biologist/GIS Analyst/Owner until 2017. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Manager at ENVIRON. In 2017, they joined MIG as the Director of Biology and GIS until 2022. Currently, Jonathan is working as a Senior Geospatial Analyst at SWCA Environmental Consultants.

Jonathan Campbell, PhD, has an extensive education history. Jonathan pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Biology from Taylor University from 1989 to 1994. Subsequently, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Plant Biology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where they studied from 1994 to 1996. Jonathan furthered their academic journey by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree specializing in Geography from UCLA from 1998 to 2005.
