Julie Marcus is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental consulting and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Special Projects at SWCA Environmental Consultants since April 2016, Julie has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Director of Growth & Development Projects. Prior to SWCA, Julie was the President of the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce from January 2016 to January 2017, and the Chief Operating Officer at New England Environmental, Inc. from September 2003 to April 2016. Additionally, Julie contributed to the community as an Amherst Board Member for A Better Chance from 1999 to 2013 and founded New England Wetland Plants Inc, where Julie served as President from 1994 to 2003. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Entomology from the University of Maine, attained from 1980 to 1984.
