Patrick Scott's work experience began in 2010 as a Biological Technician at Clean Nova Scotia, where they conducted stream surveys and restoration work. Patrick then served as a Restoration Intern at The Bolsa Chica Conservancy in early 2011. Later that year, they became the Restoration Coordinator at the same organization. In 2011, they also worked as an Environmental/GIS Specialist at Wilson Construction Company. From 2012 to 2019, Patrick worked as a Wildlife Ecologist at H. T. Harvey & Associates. Following this, they became an Environmental Planner (Natural Sciences) at Caltrans for ten months in 2019. Patrick then joined Terra Verde Environmental Consulting as a Wildlife Biologist in October 2019, and they remained there until January 2023. Currently, they are working as a Senior Biologist at SWCA Environmental Consultants.
Patrick Scott completed their Master's degree in Environmental Science at Southern Cross University from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Mount Allison University from 2002 to 2006.
