Peter Penning

Peter Penning is an accomplished professional in sustainability and management consulting, currently serving as the Director of Sustainability & Management Consulting at SWCA Environmental Consultants since June 2023. With extensive experience, Penning has been a Member of the Advisory Board at Het Portaal since April 2018 and previously held the position of Managing Partner at ALO Advisors BV, where the focus was on addressing complex problems with actionable solutions. His background includes significant roles such as CEO & President of Inogen Environmental Alliance, Inc., which established a large network of sustainability firms in over 160 countries, and Senior Consultant at Antea Group, where efficient water stewardship initiatives were developed across 50 nations. Educated at Eindhoven University of Technology, Penning holds a Master of Science in Process Design and has contributed to multiple organizations aimed at enhancing sustainability practices throughout his career.
