Robert Fritz, GISP, serves as the Geospatial Science Team Lead at SWCA Environmental Consultants since 2022. Previously, Robert held the position of Geographic Information Systems Manager at Paleo Solutions, Inc., now Stantec, from May 2020 to 2021, and worked as a Project Manager/GIS Analyst at Project Navigator, Ltd. from 2015 to 2020. Earlier experiences include a GIS Intern role at Burns & McDonnell in 2015 and an Instructor of Physical Geography and Cultural Geography at California State University, Los Angeles, from 2014 to 2015. In addition to geospatial roles, Robert worked as a Client Advisor at BMW & MINI of Monrovia from 2012 to 2014 and volunteered as a Search and Rescue operator in Newfoundland, Canada. The educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Geography, Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, and GIS from Memorial University, alongside further studies in Geographic Information Science and Cartography at California State University, Los Angeles. Robert’s expertise is complemented by a Wilderness First Responder certification and additional training in mining concepts.
