Stephanie Healey has a diverse work experience in the environmental science field. Stephanie currently works as a Project Biologist (Marine Biologist) at SWCA Environmental Consultants since 2022. Previously, they held various roles at Cardno from 2010 to 2022, including Project Scientist, Senior Staff Scientist, and Staff Scientist. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Nova Southeastern University from 2007 to 2010, where they conducted field and laboratory work related to plankton collection and analysis. Additionally, they worked as an Aquatic Biologist at Aquatic Systems, Inc from 2006 to 2007, where they performed field and laboratory tasks to assess lake ecosystem health and designed aeration systems for lake improvement.

Stephanie Healey has a strong educational background in the field of biology and marine biology. Stephanie obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (Evolution and Ecology) from the State University of New York College at Potsdam, attending from 2000 to 2004. Following that, they pursued further education and earned a Master of Science degree in Marine Biology from Nova Southeastern University between the years 2006 and 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Stephanie Healey has also obtained several certifications related to their field. In November 2016, they became an Authorized Gopher Tortoise Agent through the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission. In October 2012, they completed a 40-hour HAZWOPER training program through Compliance Solutions Occupational Trainers Inc. Stephanie also holds an Open Water Diver certification from PADI, which they obtained in December 2009.
