Project Botanist at SWCA

Sydney Lance has a diverse work experience in the field of environmental science and photography. Sydney is currently working as a Project Botanist at SWCA Environmental Consultants. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate Project Botanist at the same company. Sydney also worked as a Botanist at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department from 2019 to 2022. Sydney has experience as an Ecologist at Texas A&M University and as a Biologist at Tetra Tech. Sydney started their career as a Wildlife Intern at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and also worked as a Soil Conservationist Intern at USDA-NRCS. Additionally, Sydney has a background in photography and worked as a Photographer under their own name.

Sydney Lance attended Sul Ross State University from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Conservation Biology.
