Project Manager/restoration Engineer at SWCA

Tim Taylor has a background in environmental consulting, project management, and water resources engineering. Tim is currently working as a Project Manager and Restoration Engineer at SWCA Environmental Consultants since January 2021. Prior to this, Tim was a Project Manager at Kimley-Horn from September 2019 to November 2020. Tim had also worked as a Water Resources Engineer at Stantec from March 2007 to June 2019. Tim's early work experience includes serving as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Kentucky from June 2004 to February 2007.

Tim Taylor has a strong educational background in engineering and sciences. Tim obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering from the University of Kentucky, which they completed from 2004 to 2008. Before that, from 2001 to 2004, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering, also from the University of Kentucky.

Prior to attending the University of Kentucky, Tim attended Asbury University. From 1998 to 2001, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physical Sciences. Tim then returned to Asbury University for an additional year, from an unspecified start year to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in an unspecified field of study.

In addition to their formal education, Tim has also obtained several professional certifications. These include the Professional Engineer certification from the North Carolina Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, the Professional Engineer certification from the South Carolina State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors, and the Professional Engineer certification from the Kentucky Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors.
