Vanessa Ortiz

Vanessa Ortiz has a diverse work experience starting from 2011. Vanessa began their career as an Archaeological Technician for the US Forest Service in 2011. In 2012, they joined SWCA Environmental Consultants as a Cultural Resource Specialist before moving to Environmental Science Associates in the same year. At Environmental Science Associates, Vanessa held multiple roles, including Archaeologist, Environmental Compliance Specialist, and eventually Environmental Compliance Manager. In 2019, they joined Cardno as a Cultural Resources Project Manager. Vanessa'smost recent position is as the Deputy Contract Manager at SWCA Environmental Consultants, which they started in 2021.

Vanessa Ortiz completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology from California State University, Los Angeles from 2008 to 2010. Vanessa then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Anthropology from the same university from 2010 to 2012.
