William Murdock is an experienced archaeologist currently serving as an Assistant Staff Archeologist and Compliance Monitor at SWCA Environmental Consultants since April 2024. William previously held various roles, including as a Field Archaeologist for WSP USA and a full-time Field Archaeologist I with Heritage Consultants, LLC. During this time, William enhanced skills in lithic and historic artifact identification and conducted pedestrian surveys and subsurface testing. Additional experiences include a research assistant position at the University of Portland, where William analyzed XRF data, and leadership as Vice President of the Lehigh Outdoors Club, focusing on inclusivity and safety. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology from Binghamton University, along with prior studies in Anthropology, Archaeology, and Spanish at Lehigh University.
