William Whitehead is a Cultural Resource Specialist at SWCA Environmental Consultants, specializing in archaeological survey, testing, data recovery, report and proposal writing, and lab analysis since May 2014. Prior to this role, William served as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin - Fond du Lac from September 2004 to May 2014, teaching introductory courses in anthropology. Additionally, William was an Adjunct Scholar to the Department of Anthropology at Ripon College from January 2003 to May 2014, where instruction included undergraduate courses ranging from introductory classes to senior capstone projects. William holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, earned between 1994 and 2007, and two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Archaeology and the other in Anthropology, from Washington University in St. Louis, completed in 1992.
