Mikael Fredman

Mikael Fredman has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mikael began their career as an IT Responsible at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in 1997. Mikael then moved on to Volvo IT, where they worked as a Product/Project Manager, Consultant, and played a key role in introducing the Microsoft Application platform to the company. Mikael was also one of the first enterprise architects within Volvo.

In 2005, Mikael worked as a Progressdata Consultant at H&M on a contracted basis. Mikael then joined Cerdo bankpartner AB as a Consultant in 2006, before transitioning to Avaio AB in 2007, where they served as the CEO/Consultant and played a pivotal role in establishing the company.

In 2008, Mikael joined IKEA Communications as a Consultant, where they contributed to the introduction of a global ecommerce payment platform and established the global architecture for IKEA store payments.

From 2011 to 2011, Mikael worked as a Project Manager at Rikspolisstyrelsen.

In 2015, they joined Volvo Car Group as a Senior Consultant, where they led the requirement analysis for a new sourcing solution. Mikael collaborated with experienced specialists within the purchasing domain.

In 2006, Mikael founded Swedish Consulting Group and continued to develop the concept as the Chairman of the board. The consulting group has grown significantly since its inception, now encompassing over 60 service companies and providing access to thousands of specialist consultants within management and IT.

Most recently, Mikael became the CEO of SwCG Swedish Consulting Group in 2018.

Mikael Fredman's education history begins in 1985 when they attended Glöstorp, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period. In 1988, they moved on to Lundby for a duration of three years with no mention of a degree or field of study. Later on, from 1991 to 1995, Mikael pursued their Master's degree in Computer Science at Chalmers University of Technology. Finally, from 2002 to 2004, they attended the University of Gothenburg to earn their Master's degree in Exec. MBA (Management and Economics).
