Michael Brink

Michael Brink is an experienced product and business professional with a diverse background in technology and finance. Currently serving as Head of Product and Senior Product Manager at Sweat Economy since February 2023, Michael also holds a position as a Board Member at CMO International, providing insights on technology, growth, and product. As the Founder and CEO of BalloonBox from February 2020 to April 2023, Michael led the development of innovative fintech applications and decentralized platforms. Prior roles include Chief Business Officer and Head of Business Development at Rehive, where Michael contributed to building fintech solutions. Early career experiences involve data science and business analysis roles at BSG and Barloworld Logistics, as well as an industrial engineering training program at Eskom. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Data Science from Stellenbosch University and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering.
