Sean Gates

Sean Gates is an experienced technology professional with a diverse background in software engineering and product development. Currently serving as a Scout at Sweater since July 2021, Sean also advises Datateer on business growth strategies. Previous roles include CTO and VP of Engineering at Revvable, and various positions at Rivian, eBay, and a stealth startup, where Sean co-founded and held key leadership roles. Sean's foundational experience includes freelancing as a web developer and managing front-end development teams. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Oregon Institute of Technology and an AAS in Networking from Pioneer Pacific College.
