Torsten Engström

Torsten Engström is currently a Functional Area Manager for Licensing at Vattenfall Nuclear, where they focus on project and process management, as well as safety representation. Previously, they served as a Civil Engineer at the Swedish Patent and Registration Office, reviewing patent applications in the Energy Department, and completed a Master Thesis at Westinghouse Electric Company. Torsten holds a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan. They are also the group manager for Physical Protection and Security at Sweco since 2025.
