Ian Austin

Ian Austin is a seasoned professional in the field of civil engineering and infrastructure development, currently serving as the Director of the Development Infrastructure Department at Sweco since March 2019. Prior to this role, Ian accumulated extensive experience at Buro Happold from 2005 to March 2019, where responsibilities included serving as Operations Manager for the Environment and Infrastructure division, overseeing profit and loss, and capital locks. Additionally, Ian played key roles as Associate Director and Project Director, notably contributing to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games Site Wide Infrastructure Project. Ian holds a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of South Wales, completed between 1991 and 1996.
