Magnus Edvardsen

Magnus Edvardsen serves as the Technical Director for BIM at Sweco, where responsibilities include overseeing BIM standards and driving innovation. Magnus has played a crucial role in significant projects, notably acting as the Digital Collaboration Lead for the "Nye Aker - Oslo University Hospital" project, the largest land-based construction initiative in Norway. In previous positions at Sweco, Magnus contributed to shaping digital strategies and led BIM processes for major projects like the REMA Central Warehouse. At Avinor, Magnus optimized BIM technology for the Oslo Airport expansion project, while at Fagskolen i Oslo, the focus was on developing and teaching BIM tools and curricula for future technicians. Educational qualifications include a Virtual Design and Construction Certificate from Stanford University and a Postgraduate Certification in Education.
