Mark Groen

Mark Groen is a strategic advisor specializing in environmental assessments and energy transition, currently employed at Sweco since September 2022. Prior to this role, Mark worked at Royal HaskoningDHV from March 2011 to September 2022, focusing on market and product development in spatial planning, environmental policy, and sustainable energy solutions. Mark also held the position of manager for the advisory group on Spatial Development and Environment at DHV from January 2007 to March 2011. Mark's career began as an advisor in environmental assessments at Grontmij from 1996 to 2006. Mark earned a degree in Biology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam between 1990 and 1996.
