Michael Robinson

Michael Robinson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental planning and project management across multiple sectors, including water, highways, and energy. As the Technical Director at Sweco since December 2019, Michael leads the delivery of consenting and land acquisition strategies for major projects, focusing on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) and Development Consent Orders (DCOs). Previous roles include serving as Technical Manager at Sweco, directing the A47 Corridor Improvement Programme, and Unit Director at Delta-Simons Environmental Consultants, where operational management of the Environmental-Planning Unit was overseen. Michael's career spans over two decades, with significant positions held at Jacobs UK Ltd and Black & Veatch UK Ltd, where expertise in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEAs), and stakeholder engagement has been developed.
