Carina Häggquist

Carina Huerta is currently an Associate Quality Engineer at Medline Industries, LP since August 2024, after previously serving as a Quality Engineering Intern at the same company from June to August 2023, where Carina developed a master part guide for wheelchairs and verified wheelchair accessories. Carina’s experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Engineering, overseeing lab sessions in BioInstrumentation and managing 3D printing for engineering design projects. Additionally, Carina contributed to research as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Rehabilitation Robotics Lab and developed a predictive architectural solution during a sprint internship at Kavi Global. Carina holds a degree from the University of Illinois Chicago, complemented by an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Trinity High School.
