Charlotte Rydin

Charlotte Rydin is the current Chief Legal Officer & Head of Group Legal at Swedbank. Prior to this, they served as the General Counsel at Alecta from May 2019 to January 2021. Before that, Rydin was the General Counsel at Finansinspektionen from October 2016 to May 2019.

Earlier in their career, Rydin worked as a Board Member at Fouriertransform AB from April 2014 to September 2016. Charlotte also served as the General Counsel at Swedish National Debt Office from January 2006 to October 2016. In their role at the Swedish National Debt Office, they were also the Head of the Financial Stability and Consumer Protection Department.

Rydin has also worked as a legal advisor and Head of Compliance at Brummer & Partners from May 2005 to January 2006. Prior to that, they were a legal advisor at Swedish National Debt Office from January 2004 to April 2005. Earlier in their career, they worked as a legal advisor at Swedbank Markets from August 1995 to January 2004.

They work with Erik Ljungberg - Head of Group Communication & Sustainability, Rolf Marquardt - Chief Risk Officer, and Pål Bergström - Head of Large Corporates & Institutions. Charlotte Rydin reports to Jens Henriksson, President and CEO.
