Ru Zarin

Ru Zarin, PhD, currently serves as the Expert UX Team Lead at Swedbank, where responsibilities include leading interdisciplinary teams to facilitate digital transformation and enhance fintech solutions in alignment with the bank's core values. Prior to this, Ru Zarin held the position of Head of UX and Agile Product Owner at Umeå Energi AB, overseeing a multidisciplinary development team and ensuring the delivery of customer-centric digital experiences. Ru Zarin's academic background includes a PhD in Industrial Design and a Master's in Interaction Design from Umeå Institute of Design, along with a BA in Multimedia from RMIT University. Experience also encompasses roles focused on UX and applied research, including significant contributions to design research and immersive online experiences in various organizations.
