Karin Lindmark is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in standardization and international relations. Currently serving as the Head of International Relations at the Swedish Institute for Standards (SIS) since March 2016, Karin is responsible for networking and coordinating standardization efforts at both European and international levels. Previous roles include Head of Technical Policy & Standardization Services and Standardization Manager in the Built Environment sector at SIS. Additionally, Karin holds positions on the technical boards of CEN and CENELEC and was a member of the Technical Management Board of ISO from 2017 to 2021. Past management roles include Director of Service at Södertörns Fjärrvärme and National Director at AFS Intercultural Programs. With a strong educational background from various prestigious institutions including Chalmers University of Technology and Uppsala University, Karin has developed a comprehensive expertise in standardization processes and organizational management.
