Christine Leroux

Christine Leroux, CPPS, currently serves as the Patient Safety & Risk Manager at Swedish Medical Center since January 2023. Prior experience includes holding the position of Director of Patient Safety & Risk Management at HCA Healthcare's North Suburban Medical Center from May 2019 to November 2022, where leadership support on risk-related issues was provided and training for communication following adverse outcomes was conducted. From February 2014 to May 2019, Christine worked at SCL Health as a Program Manager focused on Patient and Associate Safety & Emergency Management, facilitating various safety training and leading hospital safety initiatives. Earlier in the career, as the Patient Safety Manager at Kaiser Foundation Health Plan from May 1998 to February 2014, Christine collaborated on regional patient safety activities and projects. Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from Metropolitan State University of Denver and multiple certifications in patient safety and health management.
