Sara Minott

Sara Minott, MHA, has a diverse and extensive work history in the healthcare industry. Sara is currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development at Swedish Medical Center, a position they began in May 2023. Prior to this role, Sara held the position of Vice President of Neurosciences & Orthopedics at the same institution, starting in January 2022.

Before joining Swedish Medical Center, Sara worked at SCL Health for over a decade. Sara'sroles at SCL Health included Associate Chief Nursing Officer & Director of Neuroscience Service Line, where they were responsible for staffing, quality metrics, nurse sensitive indicators, associate engagement, and patient satisfaction. Sara also focused on exploring innovative ways to staff units post-pandemic. In addition, Sara served as the Co-Chair of SCL Health Neurosciences Council, facilitating meetings, guiding discussions on resource allocation, and creating a strategic plan for the system's Neuro service line. Sara also held the position of Director of the Neuroscience Service Line, overseeing various departments and programs such as Neuro Critical Care, Stroke Program, and Neurosurgical/Spine Surgery Program. Sara started their career at SCL Health as the Director of Business Development, where they played a key role in strategic planning, programmatic growth, physician recruitment, and capital allocation for multiple service lines.

Sara's earlier experience includes working as a Stroke and Chest Pain Center Coordinator and Registered Nurse - Critical Care at SCL Health, as well as a Registered Nurse in the CT Surgical ICU at Mercy Hospital. Sara began their nursing career as a Registered Nurse in the Medical ICU at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Sara also served as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the PIER Program at Maine Medical Center and worked as a Psychiatric Technician at Spring Harbor Hospital.

Throughout their career, Sara Minott has demonstrated their expertise in healthcare administration, strategic planning, staff management, physician recruitment, and program development. Sara'sleadership roles and diverse experiences have equipped their with a well-rounded perspective in the healthcare industry.

Sara Minott, MHA holds a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Colorado State University Global, which they obtained from 2017 to 2020. Prior to their master's degree, Sara earned a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of Southern Maine in 2005-2006. Sara also holds a BA in psychology from the University of Southern Maine, which they completed between 2001 and 2004. In addition, Sara has received a certification as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant from the National Association of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants.
