Joakim Carbonnier

Joakim Carbonnier has extensive experience in the field of political science and global studies, currently serving as a Beslutsfattare and Asylhandläggare at Migrationsverket since February 2014. Prior to this role, Joakim interned at the Swedish Embassy in Singapore from August 2012 to January 2013 and at the Swedish Permanent Delegation to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) from January to June 2011. Joakim holds a Master’s Degree in Global Studies from Lund University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the same institution, complemented by studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam and a background in mathematics and computer science from Gymnasieskolan Spyken.
