Marianne Fortes da Cruz

Marianne Fortes Da Cruz has extensive experience in migration and the arts. Since May 2011, Marianne has been a Migrationshandläggare at Migrationsverket and also serves as a teacher at Migrationsakademin. In addition, Marianne held the position of Förordnad Team Leader. From February 2011 to the present, as an independent artist, Marianne has worked as a performer and singer-songwriter. During a tenure at the European Union Agency for Asylum – EUAA from September 2021 to May 2022, Marianne contributed as a trainee and teacher. In December 2021, Marianne undertook the role of project leader and artist for a concert benefiting Musikhjälpen. Previously, in April 2015, Marianne was both project leader and artist for a concert celebrating the debut of an EP titled "Soul Music Passion," which was released in February 2015. Educational qualifications include a degree from Malmö University from 2002 to 2005.
