Mukhtar Aden

Mukhtar Aden is an experienced Case Officer currently working at Migrationsverket since April 2022, with a prior role in the same capacity at Migrationsverket from December 2015 to March 2021. During this time, Mukhtar conducted first instance RSD interviews with asylum seekers from various countries, determining refugee status in accordance with national and international laws. Mukhtar also served as Tillsynshandläggare at Länsstyrelsen i Västra Götalands län from March 2021 to April 2022, and worked as a Youth Supervisor at Göteborgs Stad, assisting unaccompanied refugee children. Mukhtar holds a Master’s degree in Policy Analysis from the University of Gothenburg and a bachelor's degree in International Politics Studies with a specialization in Political Analysis from Linnaeus University. Education was completed with a High School Diploma from Härnösands gymnasium.
