Rustem Yunusov

Rustem Yunusov is an expert and national coordinator at the Swedish Migration Agency since May 2007, where responsibilities include developing training materials and facilitating training events in asylum-related issues. Additionally, Rustem serves as a content expert at the European Union Agency for Asylum since March 2021, focusing on practical guides and training for officials. Previous roles include serving as second secretary and head of the migration section at the Swedish Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa, and the Swedish Embassy in Dakar, Senegal. Rustem holds a post-graduate degree in EU, human rights, and state administration from Malmö University, and a PhD in comparative linguistics and intercultural communication from Kazan Federal University.
