Tobias Blomberg

Tobias Blomberg is an experienced professional currently serving as an Asylum Case Officer at the Swedish Migration Agency since April 2022. Prior to this role, Blomberg worked as a Desk Officer at the Regeringskansliet, Utrikesdepartementet from June 2021 to April 2022, and as an intern in the same department focusing on Eastern Europe and Central Asia in 2020. Blomberg also held the position of Team Leader at Röda Korset from April 2019 to August 2020, and completed an internship at the Nordic Africa Institute in 2017. Educationally, Blomberg holds a Master's degree in Russian and Eurasian Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government as well as Oriental Studies from Uppsala University, along with studies in MENA studies at Stockholm University and a brief educational experience at the University of Tehran.
