Christine Wesström

Christine Wesström is the current Head of Technical Operations at Swedish Orphan Biovitrum. Prior to this, they served as Senior Director Head of External Manufacturing from January 2017 to May 2019. Before that, they were the Senior Manager External Manufacturing from January 2012 to December 2017 and Drug Substance Manufacturing Manager from January 2011 to December 2012, all at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (publ).

From 2009 to 2011, Christine was the Manager Strategic Sourcing, Operations at Biovitrum. From 2005 to 2009, they served as Project Manager, Biopharmaceutical development. And from 2001 to 2004, they were the Project Team Leader, Downstream Development. Prior to that, Christine was a Laboratory engineer, downstream development at Pharmacia from 1999 to 2001.

Christine Wesström studied chemical engineering and biotechnology at Mälardalen University. Christine holds a M.Sc. in chemical engineering from Mälardalen University.

They work with Thomas Kudsk Larsen - Head of Communication & Investor Relations, Henrik Stenqvist - CFO, and Mahmood Ladha - Head of Strategic Transformation Operations. Christine Wesström reports to Guido Oelkers, Chief Executive Officer.
