Evelien Priem

Evelien Priem, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Evelien is currently the Global Medical Affairs Lead at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (publ), a pharmaceutical company. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Manager at Goût Du Roi, a freelance food consulting business specializing in pastry, desserts, ice cream, chocolate, and sweets. Evelien also held the position of Medical Science Manager Specialty Care & Immunology at Sobi Benelux and Medical Science Liaison Oncology at Takeda. In addition, they worked as a Freelance Visagiste & Hair stylist at Neo Retro Agency and as a Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information Officer at Roche Pharmaceuticals. Evelien has also worked as an Assistant Academic Staff and obtained their Doctorate in medical sciences from Ghent University. Evelien started their career as a Clinical Trial Assistant at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals.

Evelien Priem, PhD, has a diverse education history. From 2002 to 2007, they studied Biomedical Science with a focus on Tissue Engineering at Ghent University. Evelien then pursued further education at the same university from 2008 to 2013, earning a Doctorate in Medical Sciences specializing in Gastrointestinal Neuropharmacology. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained certifications in "Efficient Meeting Techniques" from Cevora-Cefora and "Waterfall Project Management" from Cevora in the year 2022.
