Nitin Gandhi

Nitin Gandhi has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having held various leadership roles in several prominent companies. Nitin is currently the Vice President and Head of Portfolio Strategy/New Product Planning at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (publ). Prior to this, they worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals as the Head of International Commercial Strategy & Operations, Analytics and Digital, and also as the Global Pricing & Market Access lead for Cell & Gene Therapy. Before joining Vertex, Nitin served as the Head of International Strategy & Operations at Shire. Nitin gained further industry experience at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, where they held positions such as the Head of Marketing (EMEA Region) and Senior Director of Strategy, BD, and Corporate Projects. Nitin also has a strong consulting background, having worked at Pfizer as the Director of Pfizer Consulting & Execution and Manager of Global Primary Care Strategy. Nitin began their career at Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Senior Consultant for Life Sciences. Overall, Nitin Gandhi brings a wealth of expertise in portfolio strategy, market access, marketing, and global operations to their current role at Sobi.

Nitin Gandhi obtained a B.Tech in Computer Science from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology in 2000. Nitin then pursued an MBA in Marketing & Strategy at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad from 2001 to 2003. In 2019, they completed the Leadership and Innovation program at Wharton Executive Education.
