Simona Vertuani

Simona Vertuani is a seasoned professional in the field of oncology and health economics, currently serving as the Global Publication Lead for Haemato Oncology at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB since March 2023. With extensive experience at Novartis, serving as the Nordic Real World Evidence Lead and Health Economist in Oncology, Simona has contributed significantly to research and strategy within the pharmaceutical industry. Prior experience includes roles at Mapi Group as a Research Consultant, at OptumInsight as an Associate Project Leader and Senior Analyst, and at Karolinska Institutet, where Simona focused on cancer immunotherapy and held postdoctoral research responsibilities. Simona holds a PhD in Experimental Oncology from Karolinska Institutet and a Master of Science in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology from Università degli Studi di Ferrara.
