Tamara Zaytouni

Tamara Zaytouni has a diverse work experience in various roles in the medical and scientific fields. Tamara is currently working as an Associate Director of Global Scientific Affairs at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (publ). Previously, they held roles at MedComms Experts, where they worked as a Director of Medical Communications Strategy, Account Manager, and Medical Writer. Before that, they worked at EUREKAToken.io as an Editorial Director and Editorial Coordinator, and at ScienceMatters as an Editorial Director and Editorial Coordinator.

Prior to their industry experience, Tamara worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Children's Hospital Boston and Harvard Medical School, where they conducted research on cancer metabolism and identified novel metabolic dependencies in obesity-associated pancreatic cancer.

Tamara Zaytouni attended the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth from 2002 to 2005, majoring in Genetics. Tamara then pursued a PhD at the same institution from 2006 to 2011, specializing in Genetics.
