Wolfgang Berger

Wolfgang Berger has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Wolfgang is currently serving as the Global Head of Pricing at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (publ) since November 2022. Prior to this, they held multiple positions at Roche from 2007 to 2022, including Head Market Access Operations, Therapeutic Area Head for Neuroscience and Rare Diseases, and Senior Payer Strategy Leader, among others. Before Roche, Wolfgang worked at Merck KGaA as a Senior Pricing & Health Economics Manager, where they played a significant role in global strategy development and provided support to European affiliates. Wolfgang started their professional career as a Research Fellow at University Bayreuth and later became General Manager at For-Med GmbH.

Wolfgang Berger completed their education with an MBA in Business Administration from Hult Ashridge in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a PhD in Economics from the University of Bayreuth, which they completed in 2001.
