Sharon Thomas

Sharon Thomas is an accomplished Executive Director at Lutherans in Medical Missions since October 2019, with a prior role as Chairman of the Board and six years on the Board of Directors, complemented by certification as a Professional Fund Raiser. Additionally, Sharon owns On A Mission Photography, focusing on storytelling through photography. With a nursing career spanning over two decades at UW SwedishAmerican Hospital, Sharon engages in case management, specializing in home care, chemotherapy certification, infusion therapy, and wound vac management. As a Case Manager at SwedishAmerican, a Division of UW Health, Sharon oversees home health care services. Previous experience includes serving as a Nurse Liaison at Practice Velocity, where responsibilities included acting as Product Owner for EMR development and leading certification projects, as well as roles in education and outreach in senior healthcare at Northwoods and Maple Crest Care Centre's. Sharon holds a Diploma of Nursing from OSF Saint Anthony College of Nursing and a high school diploma from Belvidere High School.
