Rowena Samarsinhe

Rowena Samarsinhe is the current director at Sweet Nexus. Rowena has also worked as a general counsel for Athletics Management & Services AG, where they were responsible for the international sports business division of Dentsu Inc. Rowena also has experience working in Portas Consulting, the Professional Squash Association, Right Formula, EQUIIDA, GENSport, LEVEL, and the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity. In addition, they have also served as a council member for the National Sports Council of Sri Lanka from August 2020 to April 2022.

Rowena Samarsinhe has an MBA in International Sports Management from Loughborough University, a Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School, and an LLB in Law with South East Asian Law from the University of Nottingham. Rowena also attended Millfield School.
