Alberto Landero

Alberto Landero has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over many years. Alberto currently serves as the Chief Development Officer at Sweet Paris Crêperie & Cafe, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Managing Director at Landest Hospitality Advisors from September 2020 to September 2022.

Before their role at Landest Hospitality Advisors, Alberto held various positions at Grupo Vidanta, starting as the General Manager at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta from November 2016 to January 2018. Alberto then moved on to become the Managing Director for Los Cabos, Puerto Peñasco, and Mazatlan from January 2018 to March 2019. Alberto subsequently served as the Managing Director at Vidanta Vallarta from March 2019 to December 2019.

Alberto's previous experiences include working as the General Manager at Grand Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta at Posadas from June 2015 to October 2016, and as the General Manager at Moon Palace Nizuc at Palace Resorts from April 2014 to May 2015. Alberto also held the position of Resident Manager at Moon Palace Sunrise from July 2013 to April 2014.

Earlier in their career, Alberto worked at Sheraton Panama Hotel & Convention Center as the Executive Assistant Manager from October 2010 to March 2013. Alberto also founded and served as the CEO of Global Building Systems Mexico from October 2006 to September 2010. Prior to that, they held managerial roles at Grupo Posadas from July 1999 to September 2006 and worked as an Assistant Manager in a renovation project at Hilton University of Houston from July 1998 to May 1999.

Alberto Landero began their career as an Executive Trainee at Presidente Intercontinental Mexico City from July 1996 to December 1996.

Alberto Landero completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

From 1992 to 1996, they attended the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business, where they received their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, specializing in Finance.

After that, they pursued further education at the University of Houston. From 1997 to 1999, they completed their Master of Hotel Management (MHM) degree, specializing in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management.

During the same period from 1997 to 1999, Alberto Landero also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus in Marketing at the University of Houston.

In addition to their formal education, Alberto obtained the Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) certification from the American Hotel & Lodging Association in June 2001.
