Kenneth Ellis has a long and varied work experience. Kenneth began their career in 1998 as a Postdoctoral Member Technical Staff at Bell Labs, where they researched novel electronic devices and materials. In 2000, they joined Princeton Consultants as a Senior Consultant, participating in engagements within the field of Financial Services, schedule optimization, and Transportation and Logistics. In 2003, they became the Principal of MesoCom LLC, providing consulting services and advising clients on strategies for managing traffic. In 2004, they joined SafeNet as the Director of Research (MediaSentry), researching, developing, and guiding the launch of new techniques for monitoring and interdicting peer-to-peer traffic. In 2005, they became the Chief Scientist of Daylife, a news aggregation startup. Here, they built an automatic content clustering and metadata tagging system. In 2010, they joined Thomson Reuters as the CTO of Reuters News Agency, leading a team of 120 engineers in New York, London, and Beijing. Finally, in 2019, they became the Chief Technology Officer of Sweet.io, a pioneer in building Web3 fan experiences for brands and sports organizations.

Kenneth Ellis attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1993, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. Kenneth then attended Cornell University from 1993 to 1998, earning a PhD in Physics.
