Isaac Rodriguez

Isaac Rodriguez, PhD, is a seasoned professional in bioengineering and biomedical engineering with a comprehensive track record in both academia and industry. As Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer at SweetBio, Inc. since March 2015, Isaac has focused on advancing innovative technologies for wound healing. Simultaneously, Isaac fulfills important roles as a National Board Member for SHPE, supporting Hispanic leadership in STEM, and as Affiliate Faculty and Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Memphis, contributing to research in tissue engineering. Additional board memberships include organizations such as the Virginia Latino Higher Education Network, New Memphis Institute, Seeding Success, and The Collegiate School of Memphis, highlighting Isaac’s commitment to community and educational advocacy. Isaac’s editorial contributions to the journal Electrospinning further underscore expertise in advanced materials.
